Project 3.2 - Putt Putt Boat Product Submission and Bench Mark
During the project my group worked well together. Me and my group members worked well to distribute the work load so all the work wouldn't fall on one person. we had some bumps when it came to turning in our plan of work submission. But other than that the progress was a success and every body loved it.

New Year's Resolution Blog Post
New Year's Resolution Blog Post Khyree Alexander
1/6
1. Stop procrastinating. Last semester I underestimated how much time it will take to get something done? Then, how sad I was when I didn’t have the time to do your best. At some point, procrastinating on top of completing schoolwork. Usually, this doesn’t turn out so well. If you finish a project earlier than you thought you would, then consider yourself ahead.

There are three scales used and then I added up the measurement to find the best one.Yes it matters because every other view would determine if the next is correct or incorrect to use.I chose lines to sketch and then bold lettering to add to my drawing to make it look presentable.

Properties and Uses of Color in Career Pathways
Review Questions
1. Why is color important?
2. List and define the three main properties of color.
3. List and define the three types of value variations for a color.
4. List and define the five main color combination schemes.
5. What is the difference between additive and subtractive color?
6. What is the difference between RGB and CMYK?

Discussion Questions
1. Imagine what it would be like if the default color for wall paint in your school was black instead of white. How would this change the learning environment?
2. What is your favorite color? Why do you think you like this color more than the others?
3. What are the top two most popular colors in your country? Why?
4. Pick a country in Asia, South America, or Africa and research what their top two colors are. Are these colors different or the same as in your country? Why do you think this is?

1.Color is a powerful tool in business, marketing, and design
•Knowledge of color benefits:
–Marketing, Fashion Marketing,
Advertising
–Horticulture, Landscaping,
Floral Design
–Graphic Design and
Communications
–Interior Design, Culinary Arts, Industrial Design,
Architecture
2. The properties of color:
–Hue:
red, yellow, green, blue, or purple
–Value: lightness versus darkness,
white versus black
–Saturation: brightness or intensity versus dullness
•Adding white makes a tint, adding black is a shade, and
adding grey is a tone
Dullness
3. Value: lightness versus darkness, white versus black
4. Color Schemes:
–Monochromatic: tints shades and
tones of a single hue are used, such as light blue, dark blue, and medium blue
–Triadic: three colors that are
equally spaced on the color wheel are used, such as red, blue, and yellow
–Polychromatic: three or more unrelated colors are used
–Analogous: three colors next to
each other on the color wheel are used, such as red, orange, and yellow
–Complementary: two colors opposite each other on the color
wheel are used, such as red and green
5. Additive color mixing describes the mixing of colored light.
Subtractive color mixing describes the mixing of paints or pigments.
6. The RGB system–Red, Green, and Blue are the primary colors–Inverse
from the CMYK system–Used in computer monitors
7. In the subtractive color system, white is the absence of
pigment and black is the combination of all the colors of pigment.
8. Graphic Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, and
Small Business:
•For a business large or small, visual presence is important:
packaging, logo design, website design, interior design, and advertisements all
require attention to color
1. The
whole entire school would be sad and boring.
2. Blue
is my favorite color. Blue looks better on me than any color.
3. Red
and black
4. South
Americas favorite colors are green and red

1. Lab Colors -CMYK is a four-channel color space—the color channels are Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black—used to describe the color values in images that will be printed in books and magazines. LAB is a three-channel color model—I'll explain how the channels work in a moment
2. Reverse Engineering (Kevin Doe Video) -is the process of extracting knowledge or design information from anything man-made. The ultimate goals for obtaining such information are varied. A typical goal for reverse engineering a product is to create a (possibly improved) copy or even a knockoff; this is usually the goal of a competitor.
3. TSA website – Main facts- Leadership and opportunities in technology, innovation, design and engineering
4. What is a CTSO - CTSOs are committed to the growth of students in all CTAE career pathways
5. Color for TSA- The colors of TSA shall be scarlet (red), white, and blue (navy). Scarlet (red) represents the strength and determination of the technology education students and teachers to obtain their goal. White represents high standards, morals, and religious beliefs
6. Go back and review the CTSO webinar video quiz
7.
Go back and look at the information about the history of technology –
know your time periods and definitions from the assignment titled
“Designing your vocabulary words.”-
is the history of the invention of tools and techniques, and is similar in many ways to the history of humanity
8. Know what the purpose of an engineer’s design notebook is (format, design, etc.)- To avoid being disorganized, designers and engineers keep design notebooks, where they record every detail of their projects along the way
9. Architectural scale measurements- is a specialized ruler designed to facilitate the drafting and measuring of architectural drawings, such as floor plans and orthographic
10. Metric system conversions- originated in France in 1799 following the French Revolution although decimal units had been used in many other countries and cultures
11. Engineering Lettered- With the goals of legibility and uniformity, styles are standardized and lettering ability has little relationship to normal writing ability.
12. Rapid Prototyping (Faster Solutions for a Brighter Future assignment)- is a group of techniques used to quickly fabricate a scale model of a physical part or assembly using three-dimensional computer aided
13. Scale Factor- is a number which scales, or multiplies, some quantity. In the equation y=Cx, C is the scale factor for x
14. Understand what drafting is- An engineering drawing, a type of technical drawing, is used to fully and clearly .... Some of the tools of manual drafting include pencils, pens and their ink
15. Parametric/Surface modeling- is the art of engineering Freeform Surfaces with a CAD or CAID system
16. Orthographic/Multi – View Drawing- In technical drawing and computer graphics, a multiview orthographic projection is an illustration technique in which up to six pictures of an object are produced
17. Future of Engineering Blog Post- What will it take for the engineers of the future to meet society's challenges? Prominent engineering organizations and leader panels have weighed in
18. TSA competitive events blog post- Detailed specifications and rules regarding each event can be found in the 2015 & 2016 High School Technology Activities, National TSA Conference Competitive
19. Maker Movement- has the potential to turn more and more people into makers instead of just consumers.
20. Know the difference between wire frame models, surface, and solid models
A wire-frame model is a visual presentation of a three-dimensional (3D) or physical object used in 3D computer graphics
In mathematics, specifically, in topology, a surface is a two-dimensional, topological manifold. The most familiar examples are those that arise as the boundaries
Solid modeling (or modelling) is a consistent set of principles for mathematical and computer modeling of three-dimensional solids
